Wisdom From the World
“If marriage is your object, you better start loving your subject.” – Anonymous
Wisdom from the Word
“If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.” – I Corinthians 13:3 (The Message)
Keep Me Real, Lord !
“Lord, keep me intentional. Help me to be generous in attitude, careful with my choice of words, creative in planning, and intentional in my actions. Help me to see my mate’s quirks and idiosyncrasies through eyes of love. When I distance, go silent or detach, make me aware that I am walking away from an opportunity to know more about myself. I am also abandoning an opportunity to know my spouse. Help me to choose love even in the face of frustrations and irritations.”
