Keep Me Real, Lord!
Dear Lord, thank you for the freedoms that I enjoy as a result of living in the USA. Help me to live in gratitude for those freedoms and to use them to enrich the lives of those around me, including those in my own family.
Love must have freedom to be love. Thank you for those who love me and who I love. Help me to welcome their perspectives, their differences and their choices. May I be respectful even when those around me have made choices with which I don’t agree. Your heart breaks because of the choices that I have made in my freedom. Help me to grant others the freedom to learn their own life lessons. Keep me aware of when I choose control over freedom.
