Wisdom From the World
“We think sometimes that poverty is only about being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy that kind of poverty.” – Mother Teresa
“If we can learn to love ourself and all our flaws, we can love other people so much better.” – Kristin Chenoweth
“Your marriage is more than a sacred covenant with another person. It is a spiritual discipline designed to help you know God better, trust Him more fully and love Him more deeply.” – Gary Thomas
Wisdom From the Word
“So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish, and that you will not only love much, but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life….bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.” – Philippians ;1:9-11 (The Message)
Keep Me Real, Lord!
“Lord, thank you that your unconditional love for me has freed me from the compulsion to be “more than” in order to be enough. Help me live in the freedom that unconditional love gives. Help me to extend a secure love to my mate that communicates that they are enough. If at any time their behavior is hurtful, help me to address it and set boundaries without removing my love! Amen!
