Keep Me Real, Lord!
“Lord, you and I both know the familiar, broken scripts that get acted out in the uncomfortable moments in our marriage. Help me to clearly see the part that I play in making these moments worse. Give me the wisdom to see one thing that I could do or say in those moments to bring about the possibility of a new ending.
Grant me a loving, gracious, patient heart as I allow my spouse to react as he or she chooses.
Remind me that I am only responsible for my attitudes, words and actions. Amen.”
