Wisdom From The World
“To be loved but not known is comforting, but superficial.
To be known and not loved is our greatest fear.
But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty that life can throw at us.” – Timothy Keller
“It was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action, and discipline that enabled us to follow through.” – Zig Ziglar
Wisdom From The Word
“Your love, GOD, is my song, and I’ll sing it! I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are. I’ll never quit telling the story of your love-how you built the cosmos and guaranteed everything in it. Your love has always been our lives’ foundation, your fidelity has been the roof over our world. – Psalm 89:1-3 (The Message)
Keep Me Real, Lord!
“Lord, Help me to love as you love. Help me to live in reality, to adjust my expectations and to be willing to work through issues with my mate or potential mate. Teach me to let feelings of envy and discontent pass so these negative toxins don’t pollute our relationship. Remind me that when I am experiencing these feelings I probably need a nap, a break, or some food. Help me to refocus on what is good in our relationship.”
